So this isn't a post I wanted write, but here we are.  I'm afraid I'm going to have to cancel the hook in for 2026.  The secretary at the venue emailed me yesterday to let me know that the festival they have EVERY YEAR is the same weekend as the hook in, but apparently wasn't on her calendar when I booked it.  I know mistakes happen, but good grief.  She did offer a smaller room but the parking would be non-existent and there would be stairs, lots of stairs!

If you signed up through Eventbrite, I will be refunding through that website.  You should receive an email pretty quickly about the refund, but it may take a couple of days for the money to hit your account.  Please let me know if you have any issues getting a refund.  

If you sent me a check, I will be sending you a refund check over the next couple of days.  Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

I really appreciate your support, and hopefully we'll be able to try this again next year.  Have a wonderful rest of your week and maybe we'll see each other at one of the many fiber events left in 2026.
